The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, has arrived at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, Imo State, to attend the Inaugural Flight Ceremony marking the commencement of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
Vice President Shettima touched down and was warmly received by top officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), led by the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.
Also on hand to receive the Vice President were NAHCON Commissioners in charge of Operations, Policy, Personnel Management and Finance (PPMF), and Planning, Research, Statistics,
Iinformation and Library Services (PRSILS), along with the Commission Secretary, members of the Aviation Committee, and other key NAHCON personnel.
The ceremonial activities for the inaugural flight are expected to commence shortly, signaling the official kickoff of the 2025 Hajj operations.
