From Musa Muhsmmad Kutama, Calabar
The Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Alhaji Jibrin Baba Ndace, has said that Voice of Nigeria is poised to educate and inform the world good story of Nigeria and its citizens.
The DG made this known on Wednesday in a courtesy call to the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Peter Odey, in his office.
He said that the media output, the era of negative stories, news, and reports against the country would be a cancelled story.
He maintained that that was why he took a tour of the Cross River’s Voice of Nigeria zonal office in Calabar to partner with the Sen. Bassey Edet Otu administration in ensuring that Cross River state news and reports always be at the forefront.
Alhaji Baba Ndace further said Cross River has potential resources and tourism attractions.
The Director General Voice of Nigeria passionately appeals to the state government to make the VON office of the zone more accomodatable for the staff.
He showered the encomium of the administration for its giant stride on human and capital development.
On his part, Deputy Governor Peter Odey promised to take the request to the governor as VON itself is planning a retreat in the state.
