As the four days stay in Madinah comes to an end, the first batch that ware airlfted from Kebbi State have commenced moving to Makkah.
According to a statement issued by Hajiya Suwaiba Ahmad, one of the NAHCON officials in Madinah said already vehicles transporting them have moved to Makkah.
Meanwhile , the Accommodation Team headed by Abdulqadir Abubakar Oloyin also met with the services providers to ensure their preparedness to accommodate the in coming pilgrims to their respective houses.
One of the team members, Barr. Ada Fauziyah Adam warned that sanctions ranging from revocation or cancellation of contracts could be applied in case of breach of the agreement.
Also, Catering Team led by Hafsat Gamawa have concluded the inspection of relevant kitchens that will serve the pilgrims who are expected to arrive Makkah today to ensure the timely supply of food as well as to ensure it meets the quality/quantity standards as contained in the agreement signed between the NAHCON and service providers.
On his part, NAHCON Liaison Officer, Ustaz Abubakar Lamin and ICT’s Team headed by Shehu Raji met with the Mu’assasah Companies’ staff in charge of Nigerian Pilgrims to harmonize the Saudi e-track system and the reality on ground. In this vein, NAHCON ICT has identified the various GPS of our Masha’er locations.
In related development, NAHCON has so far airlifted 6,840 intending pilgrims to Madinah via 16 flights.
