The Kano State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hajiya Aisha Lawan Saji Rano, has called on the people of Kano and Katsina states to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda in the 2027 general elections.
The commissioner made the appeal while receiving a delegation from Katsina State, led by the Special Adviser on Tourism and Reorientation, Alhaji Isah Muhammad Musa, during a courtesy visit to her office in Kano.
The visit was aimed at studying and sharing ideas on the establishment of Katsina State’s newly created Culture and Reorientation Agency.
According to Hajiya Aisha, the re-election of President Tinubu, Governor Yusuf, Governor Radda, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would pave the way for more developmental projects, strengthen national unity, and promote lasting peace across the country.
She said the achievements recorded by the President and the two governors justify their bid for a second term in office, noting that their administrations have implemented people-oriented projects and programmes.
The commissioner also observed that the governments of Kano and Katsina share similar development goals, particularly in promoting culture, tourism, and public enlightenment for the benefit of their people.
“By visiting Kano to understudy the process of establishing a Culture and Reorientation Agency, Katsina has demonstrated that both states share common aspirations to preserve their cultural heritage, promote tourism, and strengthen their longstanding relationship,” she said.
Hajiya Aisha further described Kano as a state with a rich historical and cultural heritage, saying its traditional institutions and innovations have earned admiration and recognition across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
