The Cross River State House of Assembly speaker Hon. Elvert Ayambem has been impeached yesterday.
Twenty five lawmakers out of 17 voted against the speaker.
This is the second time the state assembly impeached their speaker from 19999 to 2014
.
HON Ekarika who moved the motion for the impeachment was seconded Bekwara constituency member.
As at the time of filing this report new speaker is yet to be decided.
