The Provost of the Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology (FCAPT), Kano, Dr. Salisu Salisu has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his three years in office, describing his administration as one that has recorded remarkable achievements in national development and agricultural transformation.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the management, academic staff, and non-academic staff of the institution, the Provost commended the President for his commitment to promoting unity, economic growth, and agricultural development across the country.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has made significant progress in addressing critical national challenges while fostering greater political harmony and cooperation among Nigerians.
The Provost particularly praised the Federal Government’s interventions in the agricultural sector, noting that the rehabilitation of irrigation facilities, canals, and related infrastructure in Kano State and other North-Western states has greatly enhanced farming activities and improved agricultural productivity.
He stated that these efforts have strengthened food security and provided farmers with better opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s economy.
The Provost also expressed appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security for supporting the implementation of policies and programmes aimed at revitalising the agricultural sector and improving the livelihoods of Nigerians.
He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting government initiatives geared towards advancing agricultural education, research, innovation, and sustainable food production.
The Provost wished President Tinubu continued success in his administration’s efforts to build a more prosperous, united, and economically stable Nigeria.
