Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has given out in marriage the daughter of his Special Adviser on Tsangaya, Aisha Musa Hamza Falaki, to her groom, Rabi’u Usaini of Dawakin Kudu.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, in Kano on Friday.
The wedding ceremony was solemnized today (Friday) at the Murtala Jumu’a Mosque in Kumbotso Local Government Area, with a dowry of two hundred thousand naira (₦200,000).
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stood as the guardian of the bride, while Malam Shehu Muhammad served as the guardian of the groom.
The marriage was officiated by the Chief Imam of the mosque, Sheikh Kabiru Badamasi Dan Taura.
Governor Yusuf offered prayers for the newly wedded couple, wishing them a peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous marital life, as well as righteous offspring.
He also urged the couple to uphold patience, mutual respect, and adherence to the teachings of Islam as the foundation for a successful marriage.
The Governor was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim, members of the State Executive Council, political associates, and other top government officials.
