Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to implementing a comprehensive development blueprint designed to accelerate the state’s socio-economic transformation.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Governor’s Director General, Media and Publicity, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf made the remarks during a meeting with executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Polling Unit Associations from the 44 local government areas of Kano State.
The Governor said his administration would remain focused on delivering good governance and improving the welfare of the people, stressing that it would not be distracted by political blackmail.
He said the government would continue to implement projects and programmes aimed at stimulating economic growth, expanding infrastructure and improving public service delivery across the state.
Governor Yusuf expressed confidence that the administration’s achievements would continue to earn the confidence and support of the people ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Describing the newly inaugurated party executives as the backbone of the APC’s grassroots structure, the Governor urged them to remain united and committed to mobilising support for the party in their polling units, wards and local government areas.
He assured the executives of sustained support through empowerment and capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots network.
Governor Yusuf also expressed optimism that the APC would secure overwhelming victories in the 2027 general elections through unity, hard work and continuous engagement with the electorate.
