Kano State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa has saluted The Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL) team for their various contributions towards initiating, sensitizing and training various agencies in the state for producing effective service servants in the state.
The head of the civil service made this known when they (PERL) paid him a visit on Monday as a farewell visit and also presented a handover note (document) that his office would use for effective good governance in the state.
Alhaji Musa has similarly described Perl as a kind of good omen to Kano state, urging and hoping that their new program (for Climate Change) would benefit Kano citizens in various sectors.
He also informed them that the Kano State Government has been doing its best in the area of education to address various issues as it declared a state of emergency in the sector.
For health, Alhaji Musa also appreciated the kind of support that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has also been rendering to the sector.
He also thanked Malam Auwalu Hamza, the state leader of PERL for the pieces of advice he gave to his office, promising him that things would be taken for grand.
Also, the state leader of PERL – ARC, Malam Auwalu Hamza, has briefed the Head of Civil Service on PERL programs and some of the achievements within various areas in the state as their tenure has come to an end after eight years of service.
However, Habiba Isyaku Njidda, the PERL Communication Facilitator, has given an overview of their programs in the past eight years, explaining to the head of the civil service that if the civil servants go in accordance with the kind of training PERL gave, the effective results would be achieved.
Isha Abubakar, one of the PERL Facilitators also briefed the head of civil service about their achievements in the education sector particularly on girl’s child education in the state.
