A House of Representatives aspirant for Mallam Madori/Kaugama Federal Constituency of Jigawa State, Hon. Umar Saidu Jambola Yanleman, has commended the administration of Governor Umar Namadi Danmodi for what he described as remarkable achievements across the state.
Jambola, a close associate of the governor, stated that within three years, the Danmodi-led administration has recorded significant progress in key sectors, particularly education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
According to him, the education sector has witnessed notable improvements, including the establishment of about three federal government higher institutions in the state, which he described as clear dividends of the present administration.
He further noted that all the 27 local government areas in Jigawa State have benefited from various capital projects, stressing that no part of the state has been left behind.
He added that housing estates initiated by the administration are now visible across the state.
Speaking on budgetary commitment, Jambola revealed that about 32 percent of the current state budget is allocated to education, a move he said demonstrates the government’s commitment to human capital development.
He added that policies promoting compulsory education for all indigenes are already yielding positive results.
The aspirant also commended the administration’s efforts in the health sector, noting that healthcare services have improved significantly under Governor Danmodi.
Jambola expressed strong support for the governor’s continuity in office, advocating for a “4+4” tenure to enable the state to sustain and expand ongoing development projects.
Highlighting his personal contributions, Jambola said he has been actively supporting his constituents through various empowerment initiatives.
He disclosed that during the last Ramadan, he distributed over 1,000 bags of rice, along with women’s wrappers, motorcycles, and some cars.
He also noted that youth empowerment programmes have already been carried out in the constituency, adding that he remains committed to improving the welfare of his people.
Jambola assured that, if elected, he would sustain and expand such initiatives to further uplift the living standards of his constituents.
