The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has paid a condolence visit to the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics in his office, Hajiya Fatima Mudi, following the death of her husband, Alhaji Yusuf Sabo.
Garo visited the bereaved family on Thursday at their residence in Gama, Nassarawa Local Government Area of the state, where he expressed sympathy over the loss and prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
The deputy governor described the death as a painful loss not only to the family but also to friends, associates and all those who knew the deceased.
Speaking during the visit, Garo urged the family to take solace in the will of Almighty Allah, noting that death is an inevitable reality that every soul must experience.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alhaji Yusuf Sabo. On behalf of the Kano State Government and the Office of the Deputy Governor, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Hajiya Fatima Mudi, her children and the entire family,” he said.
“Losing a loved one is never easy, but we must remain steadfast in faith and accept the decree of Allah. We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, expands his grave, grants him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and gives the family the strength to bear this great loss.”
Garo also prayed for comfort and patience for the family, urging them to remain united and continue to uphold the values and legacies left behind by the deceased.
“No amount of words can fully ease the pain of this moment, but we want the family to know that they are not alone. We share in their grief and we continue to pray for Allah’s mercy and guidance during this difficult period,” he added.
The deputy governor further described compassion and solidarity during moments of grief as essential values that strengthen human relationships and public service.
Family members and associates of the deceased expressed appreciation to the deputy governor for the visit and his prayers, describing the gesture as a source of comfort to the bereaved family.
Alhaji Yusuf Sabo passed away recently and was laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
