Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in Katsina State is to hold a combined convocation covering the years 2007 to 2026.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Aminu Doro Kallah, revealed this to newsmen while defending the budget of the Polytechnic at the pre-budget defence on Thursday.
Kado said since 2007, the institution had not been able to hold any convocation for graduating students.
He said TETFund had already completed the convocation arena, while the Polytechnic was making arrangements for the success of the convocation ceremony.
Kado said in an effort to address the water scarcity facing the institution, the state government had approved N57 million for the construction of solar-powered water boreholes.
He noted that the construction of two solar-powered boreholes would address the water shortage being experienced for a long time.
He also said the institution had completed arrangements for the accreditation of 28 courses, saying that last year, 29 courses were given accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education.
