The Sheikh Ali Huzaifa Foundation has organised the fourth edition of its Qur’anic recitation competition, popularly known as Musabakah, in Kano State.
The competition, organised by students of Sheikh Ali Huzaifa under his foundation, was held at Khairun Islamic University, Kano, in collaboration with the Kano State Government through the Kano State Qur’anic and Islamiyyah Schools Management Board (KSOISMB).
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Ismail Ali Yunus, commended the efforts of the Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the support and contributions provided towards the successful organisation of the competition.
He also appreciated the Sheikh Ali Huzaifa Foundation and Khairun Islamic University for their cooperation and commitment to promoting Qur’anic education.
Participants were drawn from various parts of Nigeria, including the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, bringing together Qur’anic students from across the country.
Dr. Ismail Ali Yunus further commended the people of Kano for their hospitality and peaceful reception of the contestants and other stakeholders.
He prayed for safe journeys for all contestants and stakeholders returning to their respective destinations and expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the fourth edition of the Musabakah.
