The APC House of Representatives candidate for Gada/Goronyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Sayudi Almustapha Gada, has donated over N1 million to participants from Gada and Goronyo Local Government Areas undergoing training at the Sokoto Marshal Training Camp.
Hon. Sayudi made the donation during a visit to the camp on Saturday, June 27, 2026, as part of his continued commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development.
Speaking during the visit, he praised the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu for establishing and sustaining the Sokoto Marshal Programme, describing it as a strategic initiative designed to equip young people with discipline, practical skills, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to society.
According to him, the programme reflects the state government’s commitment to youth development, job creation, and community service.
To support the trainees, Hon. Sayudi distributed N10,000 to each participant from Gada and Goronyo, amounting to over N1 million in financial assistance aimed at encouraging and motivating them throughout the training.
He urged the trainees to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to the objectives of the programme, stressing that adherence to camp rules and regulations is essential for personal success and effective public service.
The lawmaker also encouraged the participants to see themselves as ambassadors of Gada and Goronyo Federal Constituency by upholding integrity, patriotism, and exemplary conduct during and after the training.
He advised them to serve their communities diligently upon completion of the programme and justify the confidence reposed in them.
Hon. Sayudi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth empowerment, security, and sustainable development across the constituency, assuring the trainees that their welfare and future remain among his top priorities.
The visit was witnessed by retired Flight Lieutenant Shehu Yau, Consultant to the Sokoto Marshal Training Programme, Alhaji Sani Umar Shinaka, Basiru Ibrahim, Abdul Nasir, and other dignitaries, who commended Hon. Sayudi for his generosity and sustained support for youth development in Gada and Goronyo Federal Constituency.
