Mr Tunji Bello officially assumed his role as the Executive Vice Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) today Thursday 25th July 2024.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja indicating that Mr Bello brings a wealth of experience to the FCCPC, and the Commission is confident he will be a strong advocate for fair competition and consumer protection in Nigeria.
According to the statement, Mr Bello was welcomed to the Commission by Dr Adamu Abdullahi, the Executive Commissioner of Operations, and Mr Kola Alabi, the Executive Commissioner, of Corporate Services. Dr Abdullahi served as the Commission’s chief executive in an acting capacity until Mr Bello resumed.
Before settling into his office, Mr. Bello went around the Commission to familiarise himself with the staff.
