The State House of Assembly today deliberated and approved the adoption of the House’s revised Standing Orders 2024.
The development followed the presentation of the Motion for the adoption of the House revised Standing Orders by Majority leader Honourable Bello Muhammad Mazawajje representing Tsafe East, and seconded by Chief Whip Honourable Rilwanu Marafa Nagambo, representing Anka.
Shading more light on the Motion, Honourable Bello Muhammad Mazawajje said when adopted the Standing Orders will guide both Legislative members and staff to conduct their responsibilities effectively.
Honourable Bello Muhammad Mazawajje called on the Honourable members to approve the adoption of the House’s revised Standing Orders aimed at ensuring the conduct of the House activities accordingly.
In their contributions members, representing Bukkuyum South, Birnin Magaji, and Maradun Two Honourable Hamisu A Faru Nasarawa Honourable Niura Dahiru Sabon Birni and Honourable Maharazu Salisu Faru expressed their total support for the adoption of the House revised Standing Orders 2024.
Honourable Hamisu A Faru Nasarawa Honourable Niura Dahiru Sabon Birni and Honourable Maharazu Salisu Faru added that with the adoption of revised Standing Orders 2024, they will also put more effort into conducting their legislative functions successfully.
Later, Speaker Rt. Honourable Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki announced that after several conversations by the Honourable members the House has appeared for the adoption of revised 2024 House Standing Orders.
