From Maawuya Bala Idris, Katsina The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in collaboration with the Katsina State Government, has launched the distribution of Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) to over 8,000 malnourished children. Speaking at the event, UNICEF representative in Nigeria, Cristian Mandūate, said the 7,000 cartons of life-saving RUTF will be distributed to affected children in 24 local government areas of the state.
