The National Chairman of the Izala movement, Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir, has called on Muslims and wealthy individuals to emulate the generosity of Hajiya Safaratu Tijjani Bello by using their wealth to support the propagation of Islam and community development.
Ash-Sheikh Jingir made the appeal while commissioning a mosque and Islamic school built and donated by Hajiya Safaratu Tijjani Bello to the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah national headquarters in Jos, Plateau State.
He praised Hajiya Bello’s commitment and described the construction of the mosque as a noble act of worship that would continue to earn rewards for her.
According to him, building a mosque for the sake of Allah is among the deeds whose rewards continue even after a person’s death.
“Building a mosque for worship is among the acts of charity whose rewards continue in this world and the hereafter,” Jingir said.
He also prayed for Allah’s blessings and rewards for Hajiya Safaratu Tijjani Bello for the initiative.
Speaking during the commissioning, Hajiya Bello expressed happiness and gratitude for fulfilling her ambition of building a mosque and Islamic learning centre.
“Today, my life is filled with joy and happiness. I have achieved my ambition of building a mosque and donating it to JIBWIS National Headquarters, Jos. Alhamdulillah,” she said.
She explained that the mosque was built to provide a place for worship and the teaching of Islamic knowledge.
The project, which comprises a mosque and classrooms, was witnessed by Hafeez Isma’il Sale, who commended Hajiya Bello for the gesture and urged other Muslims to follow her example by contributing positively to the spread of Islam and helping society.
