Kano State Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing 5-kilometre road construction project in Gwarzo during an unscheduled visit.
The deputy governor during the inspection visit commended Gerawa Company, the contractor handling the project, for the quality and pace of work.
The road construction in town is anticipated to greatly enhance transportation within Gwarzo and neighbouring areas.
Following the inspection, Comrade Gwarzo extended his condolences to the families of Alhaji Sunusi Muhammad Kutama, former special adviser to the senate chief whip, who recently suffered the loss of his mother.
The deputy governor offered words of comfort and support during this difficult time.
This visit exemplifies the Kano State government’s dedication to fostering infrastructural development at the local government level.
