Plateau State capital witness also a large turn out on the second day of the Protest which was Peaceful with the former Minister of Youths Sports Solomon Dalung who was addressing the protesters, explained that the protesters are not just asking for good governance but also seeking accountability and transparency from the government.

According to him, Nigerians want to know what is happening to their country and how their resources are being utilized,and commended the protesters for their peaceful conduct and urged them to remain law-abiding.

While calling on President Bola Tinubu to address the nation and provide answers to the demands of protesting Nigerians, speaking on Friday while addressing the protesters at the old airport roundabout in Jos, the state capital.

He said, the President’s silence on the matter is fueling the protests and creating more tension in the country, adding that,if President Tinubu wants the protests to stop, he must come out and address Nigerians.

The demand of the Nigerians from the Government is good governance, economic reforms, and an end to corruption,and they urged government to address the high level of unemployment, poverty, and inequality in the country.

While Nigerians are calling on the government to take immediate action to address the grievances of Citizens.

According to him, while addressing the nation, believes it would ease the tension and it help in finding a lasting solution to the probem, expecting that,the President should listen to the call, or the protests will continue to intensify.But only time will tell.

Also the protest has been discribing as peaceful expression of grievances by Nigerians,by Sam Ode, Program Manager at the International Organization for Peace and Social Justice (PSJ).

It is a clear message sending to the government by Nigerians of their unhappy with the current situation and state of affairs and are demanding change.

While commended Nigerians for their peaceful conduct, observing that, as much as the youth are hungry, they are peaceful, dancing, and showing the government that they are placing their demands.

According to him, government need to listen to the voice of Nigerians and address the root cause of the issue, rather than wasting resources and violating their rights.

He Nigerians have the capacity to remain on the streets until their voices are heard and the right thing is done,if the President fails to address the demands of the people.

Our correspondent report that there were also large turn out of protesters within the old Airport round about and motorists had to take an alternative roots.
